i have several websites that i work on that are hosted by various companies.
recently i started working on a website and obtained the user id and password from the company that hosts it. the company is casscomm which is in southern illinois.
i have been unable to successfully logon. the host says they have no problems logging on when they use the same logon and password. i receive a message that says "server closed connection."
when i attempt to logon. . . i am successfully logged on and then i am immediately booted from the server. i have tried everything that i can think of. the host company checked their server logs for my ip address and the logs show that i login and then leave the server immediately.
i have no problems logging on to other servers maintained by other companies, just this one.
can anyone help? or give me suggestions? the host company does not seem to know why this would be.
