MY cgi files are not getting uploaded in ASCII, so of course they do not work.
I had the settings on AUTO, with the file types I need as ASCII in the list.
When that was not working I tried the ASCII setting and that did not work either.
All I did to get the cgi to work was to upload it again with a different FTP program.
I did not do anything else.
I also tried to set the CHMOD 755 before I uploaded it, and it did not help.
Simply uploading witht the other FTP program was all I needed.
So, what am I missing.
Otherwise I like smartFTP, using version 2.0
