Unable to login using SMARTFTP

I have been using Smartftp for 2 months, but for the last 3 days have been unable to make any updates. This has occurred since I uploaded a new version. I have been getting the following message:

[14:28:33] Cannot login waiting to retry (30s)...
[14:29:03] Continue to login attempt 11...
[14:29:03] Resolving host name "www.blankneyseniors.co.uk"
[14:29:03] Unable to resolve host name.
[14:29:03] Active Help: https://www.smartftp.com/support/

I noticed a similar report from Neal dated 11.05.06 and the response was to go into a URL and download the latest version. I tried this but it had no effect.
