SmartFTP freezing

After I upgraded to 2.0, SmartFTP freezes, log below:

[11:09:46] 220 You will be disconnected after 15 minutes of inactivity.


This is as far as it gets. It freezes here and will not do anything else.

It only does this on my laptop. It works fine on my other computer.

It worked fine on my laptop before I updated to the new version.

Help please. Is the a setting that has changed that 'm not aware of that woulkd prevent it from connecting to my server?
