No remote side

I'm having a couple of problems.
Under Window Layout, I selected Local Left, Remote Right.
The remote side does not show up at all. In fact, it does not
show up in any of the configurations.

When I click on File, new Local Browser, recent folder, nothing shows
up.

Of course, the remote side will only show up after you connected to a server. If you have problems connecting, please post the log.

There will be no entries in this menu until you downloaded something to a local folder using SmartFTP.
