Saving to network share

Saved a file from an FTP to a network share that i have the rights to save files to but the file never came up on that share, and there are 802Mb missing on my C: disk, but i can't find the file, searched for all files created that day and all hidden files and so on, found nothing. Anyone got any ideas.
