ver 2.0 remote copy vs move files

when copying and pasting files on the remote ftp site it results in a move operation rather than a copy and paste operation, in that the original location is empty.

Please search the forum before posting bugs; this is no bug but a limitation of FTP.

I spent an hour researching the problem including searching the forum and help but could not find any information on it. If it is a limitation on FTP, the menu should say cut and paste, not copy and paste.
