conection problem

This is what i keep getting
No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
or
An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.

I have tried everything that has been suggested firewalls antivirus even down to admin tools as suggested Please would someone help me as i have now been working trying to cure this for 2 days now Thanks

Hello, I didn't want to make a new topic so ill just connect it to this one...I have the exact same problem and i need to get into my ftp and change things up. I have the correct address, username, password, and port. Whats up, and how do i fix this...correction, how to we fix this...
