Umlaute in files

Use / upgrade to a Linux server with proper UTF8 support. In case of vsftpd, I recently solved the same issue by installing one of the extended builds available at http://vsftpd.devnet.ru/eng/ and setting "convert_charset_enable=1" in the conf file.

I just tried it: Forcing the listing code page to "UTF8" instead of "Auto" works for me, too. Make sure you selected "UTF8" in the favorite settings and not the global settings.

Right. This works now as well for me. I missed this location to select the codepage. Problem solved!

Thanks a lot for the hint!

Just upgraded to SFTP 2.5. Where did the listing code page ("UTF8", "Auto", ...) go to? Don't find it anymore in the settings.
