Log In Problem

Hey everyone,

I'm new and am having a log in problem.

The host is awardspace.com

So in the quick connect I put ftp.awardspace.com in the address. Then I put in the user/psw and port 21 goes automatically. However, it says can't connect ...retrying in 30 secs.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I know made it..

ftp.awardspace.com
user: user@awardspace.com
psw: password

I get this message..

[14:27:56] No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
[14:27:56] Cannot login waiting to retry (30s)...
[14:27:56] Client closed the connection.

Hi, it can be:

A) Server issue, the server can be down.
B) A firewall is blocking the access to the server.
C) Routing problem.

For the 1st, wait it's the fix, for the second check your firewall settings, for the 3rd, contact your isp. You can try to connect ussing ftp.exe to check if it connects.
