Auto-Connect Feature

The new version of Smart FTP automatically connects when you start the program (the only part of the upgrade that I dislike). I unchecked the "save workspace" option in Settings, but in the process I lost the view of my local browser.

Is there any way to make the program connect the way it used to? I just want to hit Control + B and go to the main directory, not the last directory in which I worked.

Your guidance is greatly appreciated.

J.

I just want to hit Control + B and go to the main directory, not the last directory in which I worked.
Ctrl + B is "back", that is "back in the history", just as in a web browser. If you want to go to the parent directory, use <Backspace> just as Windows Explorer.

If you check the FTP file menu, you will see Control + B as a shortcut for connecting. It just seems like the program is "trying too hard." All I want is the option to connect by choice.
