Refusing connection.

After I formatted my hard drive on Tuesday this week I downloaded the latest Smart FTP. Ok so far, Got it installed no problem but when I put my details into the address bar I keep getting this......

[18:16:11] Server closed connection

Now I have rung 123-Reg to double check my details and they are fine..
They asked was Passive mode enabled which it is. I have put my Nildram webspace details into the program and it works fine which tells me the program is working ok...BUT!!!! the tech guys at 123 hosting are sure its my computer at fault. How can it be if my Nildram hosting is working.

I am now lost. Any ideas guys please..

Hi, it's server issue speak with your hosting to fix it.

They have since emailed me with a new password and while copying and pasting new details in I noticed I had hostings when it should be hosting without the s ..........

All is now working fine. Thanks once again..
