SmartFTP installation error

When I try to run the SFTPMSI.exe, to install the ftp client is says "Error! Can't Initialize plug-ins directory! Please Try Again Later!.".
Btw I am running Windows 98 SE on a Pentium I 233MHz MMX. Any ideas on how to solve the problem? Thanks for your time guys and have a good one!!!

Please try it again with the updated setup from:
https://www.smartftp.com/download

The bug was in the NSI setup.

Hi,

I am having the same error, "Can't initialize plug-ins directory. Please Try again later."

I am running Win XP Pro and downloaded 2.0.1002 from smartFTP.com, from CNet, and from the link above. All returned the same error. Any ideas?
