I keep getting this message: Permission denied on server (transfer limits exceeded).
Is this because I have the unlicensed version of SmartFTP?
No, this is because you leeched to much data from the server. Your account on the server seems to allow only a certain amount of data being transferred in a certain time frame, e.g. 100 MB per day. So talk to the server admin to get rid of / raise that limitation.
