Show .htaccess file

How can I view the .htacess file on the server?

I tried tools-settings-transfer-show all files
but it did not show

Does it show up in the raw directory listing (search the forum how to check for that)? You may also want to try to disable MLSD on the same page in the settings.

and not sure what you mean by "raw directory listings"

It appears in the folder of my files for the site but not on the server.

Please advise
