Use OpenSSH for Windows as SSH authentication agent

To use OpenSSH for Windows as a SSH authorization agent, follow these steps:

OpenSSH Client for Windows Installation

  1. Install the optional "OpenSSH Client" Windows feature as documented here:
    Installation of OpenSSH For Windows Server 2019 and Windows 10
    And optionally, update it with the latest version from here:
    GitHub: PowerShell / Win32-OpenSSH: Releases
  2. Enable and start the OpenSSH Authentication Agent Windows service
    Important: By default, the service is not running.
  3. Add the private keys to the agent using ssh-add
