Problem

You may experience a small delay when typing in a terminal session.

Cause

By default the TCP no delay socket option is disabled. This improves TCP efficiencly in most situations. For low bandwidth applications where timing is more important (e.g. for a terminal session) enabling the TCP no delay option might be preferred.

Solution

Enable the TCP no delay socket option in the favorite properties:

1. menu: Favorites - Favorite Properties
2. Go to the Connection dialog
3. Set the TCP No Delay option to Enable
