File integrity check and wpengine.com

Problem

When trying to upload files to sftp.wpengine.com, the file is stuck in the transfer queue and the log show this error:
File hash mismatch
And the item will ultimately fail with the TRANSFERQUEUE_E_TRANSFER_HASHMISMATCH error.

Cause

The server (proftpd/mod_sftp) running on sftp.wpengine.com returns an incorrect hash value for newly uploaded files.

Workaround

Disable the file integrity check in SmartFTP:

1. Go to the Favorite Properties
2. Go to the Transfer - Integrity page
3. In the Transfer integrity section, change the option to Disable
4. Click OK
