Drag&Drop from Explorer not working

Problem

If you run SmartFTP elevated (Right click | Run as Administrator or with UAC off) you cannot drag-and-drop files from Windows Explorer (e.g. Desktop) to SmartFTP.

Cause

SmartFTP is elevated and runs at a higher "security level" as Windows Explorer. For more technical details refer to "Lower privilege processes can’t interfere with higher privilege processes" [1].

Solution

Use drag and drop between processes with the same security level. Do not elevate SmartFTP if not necessary.
