Application Error - 0xc000007b

Post by Brandon Holland » Wed Jan 09, 2013 8:57 pm

After downloading the latest version of SmartFTP, I have been getting an 0xc000007b error since. After uninstalling, reinstalling, clearing the registry, finding the dll culprits (mfc110u.dll or ieshims.dll), I still have not gotten it to work. I am running the latest Windows 7 64bit.

Can you provide a crash dump?

We can also assist you in getting the dump (contact support by email).

The crash is the F:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\snxhk64.dll. Uninstall the Avast software and then try again.
Is that the only crash dump you get?

Thank you but there is nothing meaningful in the crash dump. Can you try to get a dump using Visual Studio?
