Is the URL Watcher the same as a "Crawler"?

Yeah. That's my question. This may be something quite simple, that I've just overlooked. But, we have a need for SmartFTP to monitor the contents of a folder on FTP, and download the changed content when it recognizes that there is a change.

We have dynamic files with the same name(s) in a folder, which are overwritten on a daily basis, and we need the new content downloaded.

Long way to ask a question, but that's it.

If it means my having to buy an upgrage or something, I will.

To watch a folder you need to setup a recurring schedule. In your case that would probably be a download of a folder that is triggered every x minutes. Take a look at the "Schedule Folder" tutorial on how to setup the schedule:
