Hello,

SmartFTP continually crashes after the upgrade 4.0.1215.0.

When attempting to create a folder in the local browser wind the FTP application crashes. When moving from the remote browser to the local browser and if I mouse click in that local browser the application crashes.

This is getting to be really frustrating. As I have to restart - crashes so far today 6 and I only have been working in it for an hour.

Regards,
Customer

Try this:

And please post the system information from the menu: Help->About "System Information" dialog.

No that has not helped.

Whenever I do anything in a local browser the application crashes and this has been happening since the upgrade to 4.0.1215.0

If I right click a folder in the local browser it crashes, if I go to make a new folder it crashes, if I right click to edit a file it crashes.

In the link you provide it asks that:

Rename the application data folder:
Rename "%appdata%\SmartFTP\Client 2.0" to "%appdata%\SmartFTP\Client 2.0 Backup"

There is no folder created after the install with that name at that location. The App just continually crashes over and over when working in a local browser.
