I have been using Smart FTP for a long time and love it. I recently downloaded the full installer to upgrade all of my machines. Unfortunately it installs in C:program filessmart ftp. This is not the path I would like to have it installed, but I do not see how to change it.

The "Full Setup" works a little different now. During the launch of the Full Setup, it allows you to specify the location of where the setup file(s) will be extracted to. Once you have specified the location or left the default (C:Program FilesSmartFTP Setup Files) location, then click the "Install" option, which will then launch the "Setup.exe" automatically from the extracted location, and perform the update.

If you are having problems with upgrading, then please simply un-install the current version of SmartFTP you have installed, and try again.

BTW: You can delete the SmartFTP extracted "Setup Files" after the install has completed.
