very big problem - I cant upload

I downloaded SmartFTP and I tried to upload some files, but when I tried, there came: "550 UTTerrain.jpg: Read-only file system" in the Log
And no file was uploaded. What can I do to avoid this?

It seems as if the file is already there and that you do not have the rights to overwrite it.

try rightclicking on it on the ftp view (not your local version) and select properties/CHMOD - here you can see what kind of rights you have over the file and maybe you can change them.

If you can't change it away from read only, you'll have to contact the administrator of the box you are ftp'ing to.

(you could try with another ftp program first - just to make sure that it's isn't smart ftp fouling up...)
