I noticed a very slow upload on our LAN against a Solaris box. It took >20s for a 6M tar file to upload while the same file transferred via ftp in a DOS prompt took less than a second. Download seams to be fairly ok. Tried active and passive mode. Any hints on that?

Regards

Try setting the menu->tools->setting->transfer->Performance options->IO buffer size to something higher.

I'm having some problems with my upload speeds and you can see them here: http://www.smartftp....4899&highlight= and http://www.smartftp....5112&highlight=
