I have a server on my Dell and was sending messages to test.
I logged on in SmartFTP and never get any messages. I am wonder how do I get messages that I broadcast from the server and do individually. Also how do I respond?

This message shows in your smartftp log at the bottom

works for me what ftp server are you using to send messages to the ftp client with ? With Serv u YOu would right click a folder and click custom commands then click serv u then send message it will prompt you to send a message ...

SITE MSG sdfsdf
200 Message received okay.

This is what I get. I am sending it through my BPFTP server
214 2/15/2003 10:09:33 AM : This is all I get - You can reply using : SITE MSG <your message>

Now I do not know how to replay!

You need to have enabled Command Line (shift+f5) and write on it the command:
site msg <enter here your text>

OK. Thanks aokromes. Thats what did it. Its nice but everytime, I hate having to do
SITE MSG <your message>
