I just downloaded, and am in the process of set-up. I will be using "SmartFTP" with a program called "JAlbum".
I've looked but can't find info. concerning "Host Name"

I need to fill-in my "hostname", "username", and "Password"...
Will it look like this?:

ftp://euclid314:password@JAlbum.com:21/Documents and Settings/James

Where it asks for port, I've put 21, then a slash and the path.

Am I doing this correctly?

I understand that part. What I don't understand is "WHO Is the hostname"... "WHAT is the port Number"...etc.
I've never used an FTP.
The manual tells WHAT I should list, but not WHERE to find the answers.
I need an example of a "hostname", such as... JAlbum.com?
etc... (also, for the port, is the port 21 for everyone?)

You hostname will be ftp.connectionsite.ext (where connectionsite is the domain or host name and ext is the extension, whether it be .com, .org, or whatever). So, ftp.jalbum.com If it doesn't work, then just type in the URL the same you would in a browser (www.jalbum.com).

You userid and password are whatever you were assigned by the server admin.

Port is 21.
