Transfer Queue is still blank - Have tried suggested fixes

I've just purchased my 2nd copy of SmartFTP and installed on a 64bit Win 8.1 machine. Everything is fine, except for the transfer queue being blank. I've tried deleting the registry entries as suggested elsewhere on forum, but stil the xfer queue is blank.The transfer queue.xml file in Appdata/roaming is also blank... obviuosly.

 

I've an an older version of SmartFTP on a Win7 machine, and the queue is visible. I've tried replicating the same settings from Win7 to Win8.1 version, but still no joy.

 

I edit a group of files regularly, and require them to be visible in the queue. Please advise, as I need my queue back and visible.

Deleting the registry settings as described here:

will reset the complete UI layout.
