Trying to move files in a folder to and from a remote computer, the file names are ever changing both going to and coming from the other computer.  I set up a scheduled task, but that just copied the entire folder back and forth.  I then tried to add filters to only copy/move *.txt files, this did not work at all, the job did not look into the contents of the folder and failed because the folder was not a *.txt file.  I then tried to modify the general properties of the schediuled task by adding a "\" to the end on the path in hopes that the job would look "IN" the folder for *.txt files but this also failed.  Does anyone have an idea as to how you can move or copy items in a folder to and from a remote location via scheduling?  Thanks in advance for any help you can provide...

1. Take a look at the "Schedule a Transfer of a Folder" tutorial:
http://www.smartftp.com/support/howto

2. To filter the .txt files:
https://www.smartftp...iles-f2574.html

3. To prevent the folder from being moved itself
Go to the transfer queue item properties. Go to the Advanced dialog and set the option to Keep Folder. This way the folder is not moved for a move operation.
