Auto-Resize Tabs and Tab Names

Best Answer vantage509 , 18 August 2014 - 04:30 PM

I'd like an option for the tabs to display just the Favorite name, rather than the name, followed by the directory path

I agree! Thankfully, found a way in another post: https://www.smartftp...e-tabs/?p=53088

Created the Registry String below and restarted SmartFTP (for more settings, see https://www.smartftp...ings-f2614.html )

Description: Template for the Remote Browser window title
Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SmartFTP\Client 2.0\Settings\Interface
Name: Remote Browser Window Title Template
Type: SZ
Value: "{Favorite.Name}"
Default: "[{Favorite.Name}] {Location}"

It would be nice if there was an option to make the tabs automatically re-size, rather than scrolling off the screen when you have lots of tabs open. Also, I'd like an option for the tabs to display just the Favorite name, rather than the name, followed by the directory path. This would allow for much more efficient use of space and it would also make it easier to distinguish between tabs. It's very distracting to have the directory path displayed on the tab, particularly when you have multiple sites open.
