No connection on Trial

Hello, I have been using the 30 day trial of SmartFTP before jumping into the pro but after this last update it wont let me connect to any sites..

is this something the pro version will fix? or is it something on my end?

all i get is the following on the " log "

SmartFTP v4.0.1211.0 and will not do anything else.. same deal for my laptop and desktop

Please post the log from the remote browser and the system information from th emenu: Help->About "System Information" dialog.

Uninstall SmartFTP
Reboot
Install the latest version from here: http://www.smartftp.com/download/

Do you get an error when you start SmartFTP?

unfortunately that did not help. same thing happens when i try to connect to any site.

this is all i get on the log on any connection

[04:11:35] SmartFTP v4.0.1211.0

i've disabled all firewalls and the problem persists.

Try to uninstall your software firewall and antivirus product.

Already did that. And nothing. I even tried a system restore to earlier yesterday right before i updated to .1211 from .1209 and same thing came up.

I do appreciate the help and your trouble. (I do not want to go back to cuteftp.... :o )

I was wondering why does it says still 0 days in use when you have previously used SmartFTP? I recommend that you purchase a license for SmartFTP and our technical support can assist you further.
