Problem:

The http:// Address I enter does not work.

Solution:

SmartFTP is not a web browser and does not support HTTP. The http:// prefix is for programs like Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox or Opera.

For SmartFTP, you need to use the prefix ftp:// or ftps://. So connecting to an ftp server will look like: ftp://smartftp.com/
