Connecting to Amazon S3

  1. Obtain the login credentials (Access Key ID, Secret Access Key) from the Amazon Portal - Access Credentials page.
  2. Open a new connection: menu: File - Connection
  3. Select the S3 Protocol
  4. Select Amazon S3. This will change the host to: s3.amazonaws.com
  5. Enter the username and password:
    Username: Access Key ID
    Password: Secret Access Key
  6. Click OK to connect

Connecting to external bucket

To connect to a bucket you are not the owner of, enter the bucket name as following into the Path input field:

Path: /BucketName
