How to connect to Backblaze B2

Setup

Open a new connection in SmartFTP:

  1. menu: File - Connection
  2. Select Backblaze B2 in the protocol input box
  3. Obtain the login credentials Key Id and and Application Key from ​backblaze.com.
    Login to your Backblaze account
    Go to the App Keys page
    Create a new application key: Add a New Application Key
  4. Enter the key id and the application key into the New Connection dialog in SmartFTP.
  5. Click OK to connect

Limitations

  • Only the latest version of each item is displayed
  • Buckets must be created through the Backblaze B2 control panel
  • Bucket and Lifecycle settings can only be updated in the Backblaze B2 control panel
