Problem

No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

HRESULT error: 0x8007274d
Winsock error: WSAECONNREFUSED (10061)

Cause

It means that the host machine exists but it has no services listening on the specified port, or there is a firewall blocking the connection.

Solution

• Ensure that the host name, port and protocol are correct
• Unblock SmartFTP in the software firewall and antivirus product
• Restart your router
