An address incompatible with the requested protocol was used.
Problem
You are trying to connect to an IPv6 address / IP without the IPv6 stack installed.
Solution
- Install the IPv6 stack. For more information on how to do this check the following KB article:
KB: IPv6. - Select Favorites > Edit Favorites from the SmartFTP menu. The Favorites window appears.
- From the Favorites window select the Favorite that you want to edit. Right click on the Favorite and select Properties. The Properties dialog appears.
- Select Connection. From the Connection tab under Settings you can change the default Protocol Family preference to IPv6.
