How To sync the Favorites with Live Mesh

This article shows how to synchronize the Favorites between two computers using Live Mesh.

1. Download and install Windows Live Mesh on both computers:
   http://explore.live.com/windows-live-mesh?os=other
   In the Windows Live Essential setup select Choose the programs you want to install and then select Windows Live Mesh.
2. Start Windows Live Mesh
   Click the Start button. In the search box, type Mesh, and then, in the list of results, click Windows Live Mesh.
3. Click Sync a folder
4. Select the SmartFTP Favorites folder on your computer. Type this into the address bar of the Open dialog:
   %appdata%\SmartFTP\Client 2.0\Favorites
5. Click Sync
6. Important: In the Select Devices dialog do not select the other computer just yet. You can select SkyDrive if you want to backup the Favorites to SkyDrive though.
7. Click OK
8. Now go to the other computer and start Windows Live Mesh.
9. The Favorites folder should appear in the Windows Live Mesh window now.
10. Click on Sync this folder right below the Favorites folder.
11. Select the %appdata%\SmartFTP\Client 2.0\Favorites in the Select a folder to sync dialog.
12. Click Sync
