How To sync and share the Favorites

Synchronization the Favorites in SmartFTP between your computers can be done using several techniques. A common way is to store the folder with the favorites on a remote server and the clients (your computers) will then send and get the favorites from this server. This is also known as the client-server model. An alternative is the Peer-to-Peer architecture where your computer takes over the role of the client and server.

Here we demonstrate some methods using two popular solutions:

• Synchronize Favorites with Windows Live Mesh
  Can synchronize the favorites directly between your computers (P2P) or with a cloud storage service (SkyDrive) as the intermediary.
• Synchronize Favorites with Dropbox
  Can synchronize the favorites between your computers, requires the Favorites to be stored in the Dropbox cloud storage.
