IPv6
IPv6 (Internet Protocol Version 6) is the "next generation" protocol designed by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) to replace the current version Internet Protocol, IPv4 (IP Version 4).
Supported Platforms

Microsoft Windows Vista includes an implementation of IPv6 that unlike Windows XP, is installed and enabled by default. To manually specify IPv6 configuration settings:

Microsoft Windows XP includes an IPv6 implementation intended for development use and trial network deployments.
To install the IPv6 stack go to the command line and type "ipv6 install". For more information about IPv6 in Windows XP:

To install the IPv6 protocol for Windows Server 2003:
- Install the "Microsoft TCP/IP version 6" Protocol in the "Network Connections"
- Copy the ipv6.exe from a WinXP system to C:\Windows\System32

Known Problems
- The IPv6-over-IPv4 tunnel does not work if your NAT router does not route "Protocol 41" (IPv6).
