SmartFTP runs great for a while, then suddenly it consumes 100% CPU and memory usage jumps to between 88 and 130 MB (constantly fluctuating). Even when I close SmartFTP and press yes at the in-program close confirmation dialog, SmartFTP.exe stays in Task Manager consuming the same resources (although it does physically disappear from the desktop and task bar). Screenshots attached.

Is there any way to reproduce the problem?

In the log you posted I cannot see any post transfer checks (SIZE, XCRC, etc).

Thanks
-Mat

It seems to happen randomly with one particular server I connect to. I *think* I posted the entire log that was shown for the transfer in question. What else do you need me to post?

Please try to change the following setting:

menu: Tools->Settings

Then Integrity and change the Hash Source from "Local, Remote" to "Remote".

Do you have any .md5 or .sfv files in the local directory where you are downloading the file to?

Regards,
-Mat
