A couple of months ago I tried out SmartFTP for use with my OpenVMS server.
At the time the only problem that existed was that downloaded files had the file version number appended to the end, this fault has been mentioned in the support forums before and I figured I would come back at a latter stage and re-trial a working version.
I've just installed the latest version of SmartFTP (v1.0.982) and have found it no longer works connecting to the VMS servers at all . The problem is with the CWD commands set to the server, they no longer form valid VMS paths.
Under VMS, "MYDISK:[MYDIR]" is a valid path, whilst "/MYDISK:[MYDIR]" is not.
Any help you can offer would be greatly apprectiated, I keep thinking that I'm just missing some new configuration option...
