SmartFTP is ignoring my proxy settings

I have proxy set to none, but SmartFTP is still using my HTTP proxy (which is configured in IE)

Hello,

SmartFTP handles it's proxy settings, seperate from IE.

The "Proxy Type" settings can be set in two different places.

1. If the site has been added to the favorites, then you can have each
favorite set, to use it's own proxy settings on a per favorite basis.
Favorites > Edit Favorites > Highlight Favorite > Properties > "Proxy"

2. And if the site has not been added to the favorites, then the global
settings take into effect. Which work globally, for all new connections.
Tools > Settings > "Proxy Type"
