Throughput restriction

I searched around, but couldn't find anything on this topic, so here goes.

We use SmartFTP mainly to send directory trees, and until recently, have been very happy with it.

However, I upgraded our machines with the latest version about a month ago, and now it takes forever to send a few hundred meg's of files. It seems the throughput is restricted to 80 kb/s.

Anyone know what this is about? :?

Try to chinge the IO buffer size to 2 or 4.

BTW my maximum speed with smartftp over a 100 mpbs lan is 12 MB/s
