Newbie needing help

Hi.
I was pretty much lost about a half dozen sentences after the Download yabb part. I want to get YABB up on my site but it asks me to do all kinds of things I don't understand like ftp. What is chmod?How do I get these files that I dowloaded from my computer to the site? Normally I pick stuff up fast but everything about getting YABB up seems like a foreign language. Can someone explain ftping these files from puter to site in baby steps? I am confused and frustrated and want very much to know this. Thanks.

try to have a look at the great flash tutorials at the Howto page.

There is also a chmod-tutorial at the bottom of the page, which describes how to change access permissions for the files on your ftp-site
