1. Copy and Rename
- Copy SmartFTPEnu.dll to SmartFTPXXX.dll
Notes
- SmartFTPXXX.dll is the file name you can get with the Resource ID Generator
- For this guide we use SmartFTPDEU.dll (German)

2. Start Passolo

3. Welcome Dialog
- Click on the "Yes" button to start a new project.



4. Project Setup
- Name: SmartFTPXXX.dll
- Location: The folder where the SmartFTPXXX.dll is located.
- Sources: Add source file "SmartFTPEnu.dll" from the latest build.
- Location: The folder where the SmartFTPXXX.dll is located.
- Languages: Add the "destination" language.
- Click "OK" to proceed.



5. Project Overview
- Right mouse click on the item and click on "Properites" in the context menu.



6. SmartFTPXXX.dll Properties
- Change the filename from "SmartFTPENU.dll" to "SmartFTPXXX.dll"
- Click "OK" to proceed.



7. Update Stringlists
- Click on the "Update" toolbar button



8. Updating Strings
- Select "all string licsts"
- Click "OK" to proceed.



9. Open String List
- Right-mouse click on the item and select "Open String List" from the context menu.



10. Translation
- Work on the resources
- Right-mouse click on the item in the project overview and click on "Generate Target File"
